I am a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist located in the Inland Empire regions of Southern California (San Bernardino/Riverside Counties). I see all types of individuals, couples and families on a variety of issues. I work extensively with children/adolescents and their parents on many issues ranging from academic to behavioral problems. I also work on issues of parenting and co-parenting. I have experience working with families going through divorce/separation. I also have experience working with gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender individuals, couples and families. I incorporate Solution-Focus/Post Modern/Cognitive Behavioral Therapies/Interventions in the way that I work with my clients.
Individual counseling gives people a safe, one-on-one space to talk openly, build trust, and work through challenges at their own pace. In these sessions, a licensed therapist tailors support to the individual’s goals, personality, and life experiences, helping them better understand thoughts, emotions, and behavior patterns. Therapists often draw from a range of proven approaches, such as cognitive behavioral therapy to address unhelpful thinking, solution-focused therapy to build practical coping skills, trauma-informed care to promote healing and safety, and mindfulness-based methods to improve emotional regulation. By combining insight, skill-building, and consistent support, individual counseling can help people gain clarity, strengthen resilience, and make meaningful, lasting changes in their lives.
